Decaf milk foam latte and carrot rapée pasta at Meolmeol Pangyo
In short
Meolmeol Pangyo is a Mediterranean-style brunch café on the Pangyo Station café street in Seongnam, Gyeonggi. On a second visit, the writer ordered raspberry endive salad, truffle cream pasta with added carrot rapée, and a decaf milk foam latte. The decaf beans still tasted great and the carrot rapée came piled high, giving one more reason to come back.

This is my second visit to Meolmeol Pangyo for Pangyo brunch. The vibe is so good that every photo turns out nice, the staff are friendly, and the food is tasty, so I came back. It's a place that puts me in a good mood every time I visit for Pangyo brunch, so let me introduce it.
Basic info and parking at Meolmeol Pangyo

Parking is always a hassle on the Pangyo café street, so it's great that you get a 1-hour discount at the public parking lot with your receipt after eating Pangyo brunch here.
Interior mood and terrace seating

The interior feels cozy and uplifting, like some seaside restaurant on a Greek Mediterranean beach.

The space is spacious with quite wide gaps between tables, so you can enjoy Pangyo brunch comfortably.

The colors and interior itself put visitors in a good mood.

The staff's attitude is friendliness itself, which is why it's a Pangyo brunch spot I keep wanting to come back to.

There's terrace seating opposite the entrance too. On nice-weather days like these, eating Pangyo brunch outdoors feels even better.

When I visited last week it was too hot for the terrace seats, but now that cool autumn has arrived, I'll sit there next time I come for Pangyo brunch.
What I ordered and the prices

They have a variety of menu items like lasagna, salads, and pasta. It's hard to photograph everything, so I'll just introduce what I ordered today.
- Raspberry endive salad ₩19,000
- Truffle cream pasta ₩23,000
- Milk foam latte (decaf) ₩6,700
The coffee menu can be switched to decaf, so you can drink it worry-free even in the afternoon.
Endive salad & truffle cream pasta

Even the napkins at Meolmeol Pangyo are cute. Meolmeol,,, as if it's murmuring the name.

Decaf milk foam latte
Just as the name suggests, it's piled high with milk foam — a soft, nutty, delicious latte. Switching to decaf beans often ruins the taste, but the decaf here is still delicious‼️ I recommend the milk foam latte‼️

Dense, thick milk foam! Impossibly soft and nutty.

Truffle cream pasta
At Meolmeol Pangyo, a Pangyo brunch favorite, I definitely recommend trying the truffle cream pasta at least once. If you love cream sauce and truffle aroma, you'll be very satisfied. First you get the truffle scent, then a slight kick of spice, and the nutty cream rounds it all off by softening the heat.

Topped with dried — or roasted? — enoki mushrooms, one bite of this truffle cream pasta fills your mouth entirely with fragrance.

Adding carrot rapée
You can add carrot rapée when ordering the pasta. Carrot rapée is sweet and tangy with a fun crunchy texture that keeps drawing you back for more. I recommend trying it with the added carrot rapée.

They give you quite a lot of carrot rapée, haha. Piled up high like this!

Raspberry endive salad
This was my first time ordering the raspberry endive salad while having Pangyo brunch at Meolmeol Pangyo. Honestly, it's the first time in my life I've had this dish! It looked popular so I tried it, and I get why people order it so much. It's a distinctive dish you can't easily find elsewhere, and it's somehow addictive and appealing.

It's a salad with peach, napa cabbage leaves and jamón, and raspberry yogurt. This fresh combination turned out better than expected. The saltiness of the jamón mixes with the sweetness of the yogurt for that sweet-and-salty appeal, and biting into the cabbage leaf adds freshness and clean flavor on top. If you want a different kind of Pangyo brunch, I recommend the raspberry endive salad. Another successful Pangyo brunch at Meolmeol Pangyo today 💕
