Jagajebbang Seonmyeonghui Pizza, Gunpo Branch is a house-dough pizza restaurant in Dang-dong, Gunpo, offering both dine-in and takeout/delivery. Visited on a Friday evening, a large half-and-half pizza (combination and crispy bulgogi) plus a tomato spaghetti left nothing but a thin, edge-free crust to spare. With plenty of tables, it also works well as a beer-and-pizza or family dinner spot.

Donpu The Grill is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Jangi-dong, Gimpo, just 3 minutes on foot from Jangi Station. A couple visited for an early evening dinner and ordered the Donpu Signature Set — pre-seared whole sogalbisal (short rib flap) with grade-1 Korean pork — plus mul-naengmyeon (cold noodle soup in broth), alongside a full spread of banchan including cold jokbal (braised pork), steamed egg, and stone-pot kimchi jjigae, all with six dipping sauces. With staff grilling and cutting the meat tableside, this was a repeat visit worth doing again.

Visiting on a weekend 2pm reservation, the writer ordered whole squid gochujang risotto (₩29,000) and a half-and-half pizza with Hawaiian and arugula smoked salmon, loving the balance of gochujang and tomato sauce and the thin, chewy dough. Portions are generous enough that two dishes fed two people well, making it a memorable date spot off the beaten path.

Homilwon Shabu Kalguksu Gimpo Main Branch is a Korean restaurant in Geolpo-dong, Gimpo, Gyeonggi, serving agaricus mushroom broth shabu-shabu that ends in house-made rye kalguksu (wheat noodle soup). Three orders of agaricus shabu kalguksu, a plate of cold boiled pork, and rice came with unlimited refills of Gimpo Geumssal beef mushroom mu-bap (radish rice), and the cold boiled pork tasted clean and rich like jokbal (pig's feet) with no gamey smell. Everyone was too full for the finishing perilla oil fried rice, but the cold boiled pork is a menu to order again.

Seorak Makguksu Chuncheon Dakgalbi Yangju Branch is a charcoal dakgalbi (grilled chicken) restaurant on Mansong-ro in Yangju, Gyeonggi, right across from Lakewood CC golf course. A couple visited at 5:30pm for dinner and ordered one portion each of sweet and soy charcoal dakgalbi (₩16,000 each) plus a cold noodle dessert (₩6,000), with staff grilling the pre-seared meat tableside. Both sauces were equally good, and two portions of dakgalbi with one noodle dish was plenty for two adults.
