Rigo Susan Jeonpo Station Main Branch is an aged sashimi pub a five-minute walk from Exit 8 of Jeonpo Station in Busanjin, Busan. Ordering the small assorted sashimi set brought a full spread of okonomiyaki, corn cheese, cold udon, tteokbokki and California rolls before the glossy aged sashimi itself arrived. With such a generous side spread, this Jeonpo bar is a great pick for a few soju rounds with friends.
Extra Mile is a casual Western restaurant in Suyeong, Busan, near Gwangalli Beach, from the team behind Free Will Pizza, Pickles, and Upper East Bakery in Jeonpo-dong. A weekday lunch visit past the rush meant no wait for the Classic Combo — half-and-half potato and birria pizza plus white ragu pasta — with a lime water and house pickle self-bar as the standout touch. A solid pizza-and-pasta pick for a date that pairs well with a walk along Gwangalli Beach.

The writer and her sister shared the signature The Famous Benny salmon eggs benedict, bacon scramble toast, apple carrot juice and an iced americano, with portions generous enough to split between two. The sunlit second-floor seating sealed the deal — 100% would return.
Bueokgan Chinese Haeundae Branch is a Chinese dining restaurant on Haeundae's Dalmaji-gil in Busan. The order was spicy gochu-ganjjajang (large) 12,000 won, seafood jjamppong rice 14,000 won, and yuxiang eggplant 22,000 won, pairing sharp jjajang sauce with a cool seafood broth and crisp-outside, tender-inside eggplant. Soft lighting and a big picture window make it a relaxed spot for a date or a family meal.
Dongam Tteokgalbi is a tteokgalbi (grilled rice cake patty) set-meal restaurant on the 3rd floor of a building right in front of Lotte Outlet Gijang in Busan. A family of four ordered the Dongam Tteokgalbi set (₩15,000 per person) and loaded up at the self-serve side dish bar with black soybean tofu, stir-fried kimchi, seasoned squid, tteokbokki, fried rice and jjajang sauce, alongside a crab doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) and generous slices of tteokgalbi. The seasoning stayed light throughout, so even overeating didn't feel heavy — a solid pick for a lunch out with parents.

Visiting at sunset, the writer ordered sweet potato fries, pepperoni pizza and vongole pasta, and liked the private parking and the two-mood dining hall in green and yellow. A solid Haeundae Italian spot for a date, family meal or gathering.
Yunujae Munhyeon Shabu Kalguksu is a shabu kalguksu restaurant near Munhyeon intersection in Nam-gu, Busan. The writer added mushroom-minari assortment for ₩5,000 and 140g of meat for ₩8,000 on top of the ₩11,000 per-person set, refilled the broth, and finished with kalguksu noodles and fried rice. With 2-hour parking support and house-made noodles, this is a strong recommendation from an N-time regular.
Smith's Farm is a Western-style restaurant near Dongbaek Station in Haeundae, Busan, serving steak, pasta and gnocchi. Looking for somewhere to eat with a baby and a stroller, the writer booked a weekday lunch at Smith's Farm and ordered octopus steak, romaine salad, pumpkin sweet potato gnocchi, shrimp oil pasta and fresh-squeezed orange juice; the seats are spaced far enough apart that the stroller fit right beside the table. For a Haeundae restaurant you can visit with a baby, Smith's Farm is the answer.
CORR is a financier dessert café in Sajik-dong, Dongnae-gu, Busan, close to Sajik Stadium and with its own parking lot behind the building. On a late weekday afternoon there was no wait, and CORR's wide tables and plush window chairs made it comfortable to sit with a baby over fig, salt & caramel, and Earl Grey financiers (3,200-3,500 won each) with an iced latte at 5,300 won and an iced americano at 4,300 won. With two private rooms as well, CORR suits gatherings and study sessions just as much as a quiet coffee break.
Working Holiday Minrak is a brunch café with Gwangan Bridge views on the 7th floor of Bada Maru at 29 Minrak Sudoro, Suyeong-gu, Busan. Sitting at a window seat facing the sea with a baby, the writer ordered the Big Brekkie at 24,000 won, the Fricassee at 19,000 won, chicken cream pasta and French fries at 10,000 won, and found baby chairs and a self-serve bar ready to use. With underground parking and a 9am opening, Working Holiday Minrak made for an easy family brunch.
Sarugak20 is a Japanese-style curry restaurant on the basement floor at 78 Seojeon-ro 68beon-gil in Busanjin, Busan, 210m from Exit 8 of Jeonpo Station, and it is the second branch of the well-known Moru Sikdang. Eating alone at the window bar table, I ordered the half-and-half curry (cream curry plus beef curry) with scramble added for 1,500 won and sweet potato cheese croquettes on the side, and Sarugak20 also sells frozen curry for takeout and courier delivery to enjoy at home. A comfortable place for a solo curry meal in Jeonpo.
