Jinnaedjang Bundang Jeongja (진된장 분당 정자점) is a Korean restaurant and bar on Naejeong-ro 129beon-gil near Jeongja Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi, specializing in doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) and jeon (savory pancakes). The writer arrived at 7pm and ordered the meat-heavy doenjang jjigae with added mushrooms, a whole shrimp and minari pancake, and albam (chestnut) makgeolli, and the pancake stayed crisp right to the edges alongside the deeply savory stew. For a plate of jeon with makgeolli in Jeongja-dong, Jinnaedjang is the right call.
