Pibing Paldang Branch is a dog-friendly pizza restaurant on Paldang-ro in Wabu-eup, Namyangju, Gyeonggi, filling an entire building above the Han River. Ordering the weekday couple set, the writer had the new Surfer's pizza and the truffle parmigiano cream pasta at a second-floor river-view table with their dog, and Pibing Paldang Branch provides dog chairs plus a self-bar with barley tea. The light natural-cheese pizza and the chewy wide noodles both delivered, making Pibing Paldang Branch worth a return trip with a dog.

Haehwagaban is a quiet place to treat parents to a restorative meal.

With 3 hours of free parking at Dream Tower 2, Himawari is an easy choice for tonkatsu in Okjeong-dong.

Daehwa Sutbul Garden was nearly full even on a weekday night, and the ribs marinated through to the center and the first taste of chicken gizzard meat were the most memorable parts.

Open until 2am with parking fees covered, Sinbaegok Yang Kkochi Gyeongan Branch works just as well for a family dinner as for a late second round of drinks.
