Byway Bakers Cheongsa Main Branch is a takeout-only shop with no tables. The inside is cozy and there's no space to eat there. (One whole wall is a mirror, so watch out — you might mistake it for extra space lol)

I visited around 5pm on a weekend and there weren't many breads left🥺

Still, there were still plenty of financier types!! And there's even the trendy chocolate baguette these days🍫

Drinks are available for takeout too, and the prices overall are noticeably affordable, so it doesn't feel like a big spend🫧

The fresh peach yogurt wakppu salt bread is ₩7,500, and even the packaging feels luxurious, like a real piece of fruit lol

Like wakppu mallang candy, you put on plastic gloves and crack it open with both hands 🤪

It really is a salt bread with a whole fresh peach inside! Loaded generously with whipped cream and peach

The cracking sensation is great, ASMR~🎧💥 the sound is wonderfully wild, and the chocolate coating on the outside doesn't taste artificial at all, which I loved — the right amount of sweetness, tangy peach, and soft cream all together

My little one helped crack this one open~ ♡♡♡♡ It tasted great, but the sound is so addictive I want to buy it again haha

Why the fig pistachio egg tart was the best pick

The tastiest dessert I had at Byway Bakers was the ₩5,600 fig pistachio egg tart. Nutty pistachio cream loaded with fresh fig — egg tart plus fig is an unbeatable combination

The outer pastry part is super crispy and bigger than I expected — fig goes all the way inside too, wow

The outside has a crispy pastry texture, and inside the soft egg filling pairs so well with the nutty pistachio cream and fig — the tastiest dessert I had, highly recommend🫶🏻⭐️

Garlic baguette, reheated in an air fryer at home

The garlic baguette is ₩6,000, and a crispy baguette with garlic is always delicious

Running it through the air fryer gave it an even crispier texture with garlic aroma spreading fragrantly — a very addictive bread

I tried just the end piece of the baguette straight from the air fryer, and it was so, so good 👅
